When Talking to the Founding Fathers What Would You Say?

Author's Note: The reason I wrote this passage is to think back to our founding fathers, pay attention to the way I wrote the story (Talking to each of the founding fathers)

When I talk to the presidents, there would be many things I would want to say. Stating the fact that they had started our government. A few things that have changed is the campaigning. The thing that has change is the campaigning, dirty campaigning is when one person running keeps talking negatively about the other person they are running against. For example a commercial sent out by one person and is talking dreadful about another person. I believe that we don't need to have campaigning be this way, it doesn’t need to be mean. You can be kind and still win to be the president. There might be some bad ideas of the government but there are also good ones too. One good thing that we have done is giving lots of foreign aid to countries in need. Giving foreign aids to another country is very kind, at least I believe so. Think of it this way, if you were to see a little toddler crying because he dropped his one lolli-pop. You wanted to help and you chose to give him/her one more because you have 3 more.

If I were to talk to Ben Franklin, I have something different to say. One of the things I can talk to Ben about is his inventions. When Ben took a kite out, during the thunder storm, it wasn’t the brightest idea. When he got struck with lighting it really sparked something into him that made him figure out energy.  Although your inventions may not have made since back then, they have unlocked many keys to our generation. Congratulations, you did something that really helped figure out a lot of ideas, and inventions. As I gave a huge hand shake to Ben, I would say these words with a big smile on my face and a warm heart.

Another founding father was Alexander Hamilton. He was the first United States Secretary of the Treasury. Also he was killed in a duel by Aaron Burr. In 1804, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr met on the dueling grounds. When the match was over, Hamilton was seriously wounded, and Burr was wanted for murder. Why did you get in a duel with Aaron Burr, was there something he did to you that made you want to have a duel with him? Did Burr do something in the past that made you risk your life to duel Aaron? I would ask these questions to Alexander, because I believe you don’t need to fight with a perfect stranger or maybe not such a stranger.

John Jay was the first Chief Justice of the United States. Jay was born into a wealthy family of merchants and government officials in New York City. Talking to John Jay would be interesting, I would ask how it was to be the first Chief Justice in the United States. Was being the first Chief Justice complicated? Did you have anyone to lean on, if things would be troubling?

These men, which have helped us in various ways, are our founding fathers. Now what happens when you hear the words Founding fathers? Making our country what it is today, hopefully you remember the founding father because I sure will. If we didn’t have them, think about what our world would be like?

When I say “Our Founding Fathers” who pops into your head? May it be Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, or George Washington? Many people pop into your head although by what they have done in their life depends on whether or not they are a founding father. If they came back to life and were to talk to you what would you say?
